A great big thank you to the Whangarei District Council Creative Communities Scheme, who are supporting my exhibition, Tails of Friendship, opening Tuesday, 14th October at Reyburn House, Whangārei.

Tails of Friendship is a heartwarming exhibition celebrating the deep connection between people and animals across Te Tai Tokerau. Through photography, art, and storytelling, it captures the moments of joy, comfort, and companionship that our animal friends bring into our lives. Each piece on display shares a unique “tail” — from loyal pets to wild encounters — reminding us of the empathy, creativity, and healing that come from these special relationships.
This exhibition invites visitors to reflect on their own bonds with animals and to celebrate the friendship, trust, and aroha that connect all living beings.
