Roller coaster of a weekend at Round 5 of the BMW Race Driver Series.

Friday practice was run in fairly average conditions, which made for some good learning heading into the weekend. Qualifying on Saturday morning was still a bit damp, but I managed to put together some solid laps and I was stoked to come away with P3.

Race 1 in the afternoon was on a hot, dry track with plenty happening. There were some really good battles with strong drivers throughout the race, which I enjoyed a lot, finishing in P5.

Sunday brought cooler, overcast conditions with two races.
Race 2 I started from P5 and learnt a bit about my race starts. I was in a really competitive pack with positions changing constantly each lap, so I came away with P7 on track.

Race 3 I again started P3 and got an average start again, and after a tight battle through the first couple of corners I lost a few positions. I managed to work my way back onto the pack and finished P7.

Unfortunately I did get a post race penalty for track limits which will put me further back in the overall results for the weekend

it was a solid weekend, I learnt more about the car, the track, and myself. It was great preparation leading into the CareVets Scholarship Shootout with TOYOTA GAZOO Racing New Zealand tomorrow. I’m really proud to be one of four drivers from the BMW E46 BMW Race Driver Series selected to take part, it’s an awesome opportunity and I can’t wait to put my best foot forward!

One of the biggest movers of round 1! Looking for more this Saturday, I can’t wait!

It might be autumn, but the action isn’t slowing down!

Following on from our one day meeting at the last sprint round, we now have our second and last endurance meeting of the season.

👉 Saturday, 21 March at Hampton Downs 👈

It's quickfire! With qualifying and a one hour race all on Saturday afternoon.

Endurance racing is about consistency, in the first endurance round the biggest movers in the field were all E46 drivers: Carson Daly, Dom Pietersen and Samira Bedingham. Each gaining nine positions in the race from qualifying.

Who's your pick this weekend? Entry list to come. 🤩
