For the last month at School of Disobedience, I developed a workshop called What Remains: Face Under the Face, based on my solo performance practice.

The workshop uses somatic awareness, reflective writing, and creative making as tools for internal mapping, resulting in a mask that reflects a participant’s inner atmosphere.

The mask is not approached as disguise or identity construction, but as a material process through which something already sensed becomes visible, stabilised, and shareable.

Some reflections from participants:

“You have a very warm and calming presence that made me feel safe and grounded.”

“Lucie managed to create an environment in which I felt comfortable, unjudged and safe.”

“Starting with sound immersion helped me let go of judgement and embrace the process.”

“Masks normally freak me out, but this experience felt safe. I enjoyed focusing not on the outcome, but on what radiates.”

Thank you to everyone who shared their openness, presence, and trust with me through this process.

Během setkání pracujeme s různými médii a materiály – od kresby a malby po koláž, práci s objektem, hlínou nebo instalací. Různorodost materiálů otevírá nové způsoby vyjádření a umožňuje každému najít vlastní tvůrčí jazyk.

During the sessions we work with a range of media and materials – from drawing and painting to collage, objects, clay, and installation. The diversity of materials opens different ways of expression and allows each participant to find their own creative language.
