❄️ Winter Maintenance Reminder: Small checks today can prevent big problems tomorrow.

Winter weather can take a toll on commercial buildings, and it's often the little issues that become costly if left unchecked.

As the colder, wetter months settle in, now is a good time to stay ahead with preventative maintenance.

Here are a few areas worth checking:
✔️ Roofs and gutters are clear of debris to prevent water damage.
✔️ External walkways and entrances are safe and free from slip hazards.
✔️ Building lighting is working correctly as daylight hours shorten.
✔️ Heating and ventilation systems are operating efficiently.
✔️ Exterior windows and façades are maintained to protect your building's presentation.
✔️ High-traffic areas are monitored for increased wear caused by wet weather.

A proactive maintenance approach helps extend the life of your assets, minimise disruption, and create safer, more comfortable environments for everyone using your facilities.

Need a hand getting your property winter-ready? Get in touch with the TPS team we'd love to chat about how we can help keep your facilities safe, compliant, and looking their best this winter.

A fantastic evening at the FMANZ Awards.

It was great to come together and celebrate the talent, innovation, and achievements across the facilities management industry. Congratulations to all the winners and nominees on the night.

TPS recently joined students at Avondale College's Trades Day to share insights into the diverse range of trades and services we deliver across New Zealand.

Representing TPS were Kerry Elliot (Head of People & Culture), Caspian Tait (People, Culture and Training Facilitator), Josh Clark (Electrical Supervisor), and Eddie Waite (Carpenter), who shared their experiences of their trades and the career pathways available across our business, from electrical and carpentry to maintenance and facilities services.

Students had the opportunity to ask questions, learn about work experience opportunities, and get involved in hands-on activities, giving them a practical glimpse into life in the trades.

A big thank you to Avondale College for hosting a great event and helping inspire the next generation of trade professionals.

Talofa lava!

This week, we're proud to celebrate Samoan Language Week.

This year's theme:
"E afua mai i mauga tetele manuia o le nu'u"
"From the high mountains are the blessings of the village,"

reminds us of the importance of community, collective strength and the generations who have paved the way before us.

As an organisation built on people, partnership and service, we value the diversity that makes our teams stronger and recognise the contributions of our Samoan and wider Pacific communities that help shape who we are.

We look forward to celebrating and learning throughout the week.

Manuia le Vaiaso o le Gagana Samoa!
