John Morrison Harness Racing

With the NZB Standardbred Yearling Sales just around the corner, John has been busy pouring through the pages and pedigrees in search of the next star, or hopefully even stars, to join the team. But, it’s not just horses we’re after. We’d love for some new faces, of the human variety, to join the stable as well and we’re actively looking for expressions of interest from potential owners who might be interested in joining the fun.

Now into the seventh full season of training and fourth out of the Ashburton Racecourse barn, John Morrison Racing has built an impressive reputation of success culminating in our best season ever last year with 31 winners and 40 placings from 164 starters. Included among those winners were both Giorgio Denario and Start Me Up who both won on debut as two-year-olds and Amass who claimed victory on the inaugural Harness 5000 day at Ashburton in December.
