Day 2 at Kathmandu Model College (KMC) took the experience deeper into business decision-making.

Students engaged with real management challenges drawn from BigMart’s business context, working across issues linked to inventory, finance, procurement, marketing, operations, and strategy. The learning moved beyond discussion into analysis, trade-offs, and decision-making in a much more applied way.

This is exactly why simulation-based learning matters. It helps students see how one decision affects another, how departments connect, and how real businesses operate beyond the classroom.

For the first time in Nepal, students from Kathmandu Model College (KMC) stepped into a live supply chain business simulation where they took on roles across the chain and made decisions inside a dynamic, consequence-driven environment.

This time, we brought BigMart’s inventory management into a real-life simulation format, where students experienced the pressure of delay, demand, coordination, stock movement, and cost optimization across the supply chain.

This was our first step toward bringing world-class simulation learning to Nepal, and the response was even better than we expected for a first event, especially as part of a flagship event of KMC.

This is the kind of learning shift CYAN wants to build more of where theory meets practice, and where education starts connecting much more closely with real industry systems.
