Pushing Miles

In answer to some of the queries I've had over the last couple days.

No, I wont be on the buffalo, but Wendy will also not be on an fjr.

This ride is not being executed on a bike currently in any barn.

Maths was never my strong suit so when am told its been to 2281 days i simply believe it 😃

Assistance of some sort may be required, or not, time shared on the road will probably be welcome this time around.

I am often asked will your next ride plan be more days and more distance.
The answer is no.
Both Wendy Crockett and I feel that the metric has to change, has to evolve into a challenge that isn't simply rinse and repeat.
And so the concept I have created for this upcoming team ride is diabolical in a completely different way, but is still world first effort level.
This ride will also differ vastly from our last effort in that we are going to be updating as interesting milestones are achieved from the bike build period and into the ex*****on of the ride, we want you( this time around) to join us as we travel through the entire ride.

2281 days later I finally got around to posting my third ever post, but it took three goes to get it to NOT be a reply to Wendy.
It just happens to be about half that number of days till the next Pushing Miles team event is underway. The preparation for this ride is already two years old, the route is set, the dates and locations to be at those dates inside the start and end date are set, the next period is machine preparation. A scratch build as I am currently calling it. What could possibly go wrong? Absolutely nothing, we used up all our bad luck already😁

We've made the short list for the Chanticleer International Book Awards! We have some stiff competition and several more rounds of judging to go, but WOW if it doesn't feel amazing to have made it this far! We are incredibly thankful for all of the great reviews, positive feedback, and independent literary awards 😄🥰

We just learned that Pushing Miles was chosen as a finalist in the Independent Author Network book of the year awards! We were awarded in two different categories - Non-fiction Adventure and Travel. Ian & I are thrilled that the story of our crazy adventure is gaining some attention in larger literary spheres. It's tough for independent authors to catch traction, and we're so grateful for all of you who are sharing in our adventures and submitting our story to contests like these. You're the best!! 🤩

Has anyone had trouble with the audiobook reverting back to the same chapter every time you play it? If you've had issues, please comment with the platform you purchased the book, the circumstances (in this case, starting autoplay) & the chapter number, if you remember. This will help me determine if it is a one-off problem or if it's something I need to chase down with the distributor. Cute dog pic just because I like cute dogs. Thanks!
