Qatar’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Majed Al Ansari strongly stated that the Strait of Hormuz must not be used as a pressure card, declaring that blocking navigation in the vital waterway cannot be justified.
Reza Talaei-Nik, spokesperson for Iran’s Defence Ministry, has declared that the United States is “no longer in a position to dictate its policy to independent nations,” amid ongoing tensions and negotiations over the Middle East conflict.
He added that Washington must eventually “abandon its illegal and irrational demands,” signaling a sharp escalation in rhetoric as global power dynamics shift.
Speaking to students in Marsberg, Merz warned: “An entire nation is being humiliated by the Iranian leadership, especially by the Revolutionary Guards,” as talks stall and the conflict risks dragging on like past US quagmires in Iraq and Afghanistan. 
The comments come amid escalating tensions, with Merz urging a swift end to the war.
“This event would never have happened with the Military Top Secret Ballroom currently under construction at the White House. It cannot be built fast enough!” Trump declared.
He praised the planned venue’s unmatched security features, noting it sits securely inside the White House gates with no unsecured rooms above — unlike the Washington Hilton.
The controversial $400 million project, already under construction on the former East Wing site, has faced legal challenges but is reportedly on budget and ahead of schedule.
The strike formed part of a wave of simultaneous assaults by al-Qaeda-linked JNIM militants and Tuareg separatists on military sites, including Bamako’s airport, hitting the heart of Mali’s military junta.
