It’s been a long and hectic day, but a productive one! 🙌⚽️

Lucas’s team came so close to reaching the final, but unfortunately another team managed to beat them by just one goal. 🥅⚽️

Not quite the result the boys were hoping for in this football cup, but that’s life - we can’t always win. Sometimes the toughest matches teach us the most, and the boys gave it everything they had. 💪👏
And serving Pasta Bolognese was a hit. Many people told us that they really enjoyed the meal.

Now it’s time for a well-deserved 3-week holiday before getting back to work with a week of intensive training ahead of Dana Cup in Denmark, starting the week of July 19th. 🇩🇰⚽️

The journey continues, and we’re already looking forward to the next challenge! 🔥⚽️ one of the world's largest and most international youth football (soccer) tournaments in Hjørring, Denmark. It welcomes over 1,000 teams from more than 45 countries for boys and girls aged 11 to 19. And Lucas is really looking forward participating 🥰

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗻𝗲 ❤️🎓

This evening we celebrated my foster son’s graduation and the completion of 10 years of primary and secondary school. What a beautiful and emotional evening it was.

There were touching speeches, proud smiles, and a wonderful song performed by all the students. The emotions were impossible to hide - teachers shed a tear, and so did some of the students. ❤️

It was a day filled with mixed feelings. Happiness and pride for reaching this important milestone after so many years together, but also sadness knowing that from August, many of these young people will be heading to different schools and different paths in life. For some, this was the last day they will see certain classmates they have shared so many memories with.

Watching them tonight brought back memories of my own graduation days, even though it’s been quite a while ago 😅. That bittersweet feeling of being excited for what lies ahead while saying goodbye to something familiar is something you never really forget.

Congratulations to all the graduates! May your future be filled with exciting opportunities, wonderful friendships, and dreams coming true. 🌟
