Congratulations to our ESR9 Pedro Matos-Filipe from Anaxomics Biotech, who won the Ecopa Young Scientist Travel Award at the EUSAAT-Congress for his talk "Building virtual cohorts via the integration of public data".
The presentation focused on a new microarray data integration method, that focuses on the post-processing of public datasets. Using this new method, he and his team managed to produce Prostate Cancer patient dataset with a large number of samples. The same dataset was then applied to the field of biomarker discovery, which shed light onto new circulating biomarkers for high-grade Prostate Cancer detection.
We are very proud of you! πππ
