Just one more week to see the remarkable Magdalena Abakanowicz triptych exhibition, ‘Everything is made of fibre’. Since my student days, I’ve always been fascinated by her imposing textile installations, the expressive handwoven textures, and her bold use of traditional materials. The way she saw textiles as a sculptural medium, exploring not only form but also its dynamic relationship with the surrounding space.

It was especially meaningful for me to have been invited by the Polish Ambassador to the Netherlands, Margareta Kassangana, in connection with this exhibition. At the Ambassador’s Day at the TextielMuseum back in May, I had the chance to give a presentation and share my work, for which my warmest thanks.

On Sunday 24 August, Museumgasten will focus on the work and legacy of Abakanowicz, with curator Sjouk Holtsma and special guest and co-curator .kowalewska.165, Chair of the Magdalena Abakanowicz Foundation and Chief Curator at the Central Museum in Łódź, Poland. A full screening of the special documentary on the exhibition will be shown, alongside unique archival footage offering an in-depth look at Abakanowicz’s practice. Reserve your ticket via .

Happy to see my ACOUSTICS Collection for .be continues to create comforting environments across a variety of spaces. At the VOKA Chamber of Commerce in Mechelen, Belgium, 24 ONDO panels brighten the office, create an acoustic balance, and add a warm, tactile counterpoint. A wonderful workspace by interior architect .
