Tl;dr: 2024 was lit.

You can’t imagine the emotions I feel while writing this.
First, I feel fulfilled because this year has been the most eventful (pun intended) year to date.
Second, I feel proud. After last year’s abrupt end, I decided to take it easier and work mostly with regular promoters—with some exceptions, of course.
Next, I feel conflicted. Even though I’ve documented amazing events, my work isn’t as consistent as I’d hoped. Why? I put too much pressure on myself, something I’ll work on.
Finally, I feel grateful. Thanks to your appreciation, support, and trust in my work, you motivate me to keep going—even on tough days. Compliments, bookings, and even seeing my photos as artwork on your walls are the greatest honors. Sharing my passion with you is my life’s joy.

To all the promoters, DJs, creative artists, stage managers, light technicians, dancers, bouncers, and EVERYONE else involved in this year’s journey: thank you from the bottom of my heart. You make me a very happy kiddo. I love you deeply.

A little early to the party, but here we go.

I wanted to start things off by saying I’ll be taking a step back from shooting loads of parties.
This year has been quite an intense ride, due to the fact that I’m combining event photography with my daytime job as an assistant store manager.
This combination made it hard for me to stay focussed during the week. Which isn’t practical if you must do quite some administration and have to give the correct advice to people.
After ADE I had quite a rough time which made me decide to choose for my mental and physical health and take less gigs as a photographer. 
It won’t mean that I completely stop. It just means that I’ll only work with regular clients with a very select handful of exceptions.

With that being said, I wanted to thank you all for yet an amazing year.
I’ve again met such beautiful people and worked with awesome organizations. 
You have all filled my heart with pleasure and joy, I cannot thank you enough for everything you’ve meant to me this year.
For this year my work is done, but I hope to see many of you on the 1st of the year, to celebrate a new beginning.
