This truly was a complete overhaul on the previously matte black finish. I wanted to point out the incredible level of detail that went into customising Sentinel done by .⁠
⁠
Not only the usual body parts were redone and painted Porsche Kreide. Also many of the typical, factory ABS composite black parts were sanded until the surface was entirely smooth. That way the ultra gloss Kreida would take significant effect.⁠

Finally the plastic parts were coated with 9H/10H ceramic coating (SiO2). Which is a 30μm (1μm = 0,001mm) thin layer that starts as a liquid but hardens to an extreme 9H hard crystalline layer after curing for ~24hrs.⁠

Although being incredibly thin, that ceramic layer has incredible protective characteristics against scratches and color fading both in terms of gloss and saturation with longevity of up to 3 years.⁠
⁠
How it works is that it fills the small cavities in the paint layer making it super smooth and therefore extremely hydrophobic. If you like water beads, then you'll love this product. Great for windshields, helmets, visors, lens elements of light units, etc.⁠

Although the coating is mostly applied to the surface of body parts, the 10H variant is frequently used on all parts prone to corrode or rust, like bolts, spokes, rims, the engine housing, electrical wiring connectors and so on. There are even special variants which protect leather seats and other sort of fabric.⁠

A lot of you have taken an interest in this helmet mounted brake light from after I've featured it in my previous post. Understand that it's a stand alone advanced LED brake light which you attach to the helm using a proprietary mounting plate with heavy duty 3M VHB adhesive. It's a very strong adhesive sticker similar to what you might know from GoPro mounts.⁠

It's also possible to purchase additional mounting plates so that you can easily attach your Brake Free unit to another helmet. Useful in case you own and like to wear different styled helmets or if you often ride 2UP. In that case make sure to grab extra mounts for your passengers helmet, since that helmet is the first one you'll see when coming up from behind.⁠

Over more recent times many of you asked 'what happened to Legion motorcycles...?' Well, in all honesty it's kind of a sad story as I had high hopes of it actually becoming a succes. But I actually decided to opt out of the collaboration last August after having mixed feelings about the future of the company. I just didn't seem to click all that well with the others, which led to unfortunate disagreements and such.⁠

But still, it really sucks big time having to leave behind all that you've worked so hard for. I'm however creative enough to flip it & double it and create something even more EPIC since I learned that true loyalty isn't easily acquired nor transferred and in that regard most of you will always see me through it to the end as you'd stuck with this whole time 🙌🏼⁠

Yet there is a small hint for y'all in this picture. I guess you guys might've seen it pop up a few times before perhaps. Can you tell what it is? It's still too early for a full announcement but you'll soon learn more of this new venture in the future!⁠
