*Akwa Ibom Set for Grand 2025 Unity Concert on December 6*
šAs part of activities marking the 2025 Christmas Unplugged celebrations, the Akwa Ibom State Government has announced that all is set for the 2025 Unity Concert, scheduled to hold on Saturday, December 6, in Uyo.
šThe announcement was made in a statement issued by the Honourable Commissioner for Information, Rt. Hon. Aniekan Umanah, who described the concert with the theme āIn Him We Moveā as a major spiritual convergence aimed at fostering unity, worship, and collective thanksgiving across the State. He explained that the event is designed to renew the peopleās faith and hope in God throughout the yuletide and beyond.
šGovernor Umo Eno will attend the concert as the Special Guest of Honour, alongside several eminent sons and daughters of the State, invited guests, and stakeholders from various sectors.
šThis yearās edition boasts a rich lineup of renowned gospel ministers, including Mercy Chinwo, Moses Bliss, Victor Thompson, Progress Effiong, John Bassey, Bobby Friga, Queen Favour, Reho Sax, Prospa Ochimana, David G., Chris Vic, BeeJay Sax, and Pastor Aity Dennis. Choir ministrations will feature the All Nations Mass Choir, Government House Divine Voices, De Awesome Crew, Young Professionals, and the IWC Choir. The Word for the evening will be delivered by Archbishop Emma Gospel Isong, supported by other anointed ministers of God.
šUmanah emphasized the significance of the annual Unity Concert, describing it as āmore than a musical gathering.ā According to him, the event serves as āa spiritual convocation that strengthens our shared identity in Christ,ā adding that this yearās edition is expected to inspire deeper unity, renewed faith, and a strong sense of common purpose across the State.
šThe 2025 Unity Concert will hold at the International Christian Worship Centre, Uyo, beginning at 5:00 PM.
šThe State Government has extended an open invitation to citizens, residents, and friends of Akwa Ibom to participate fully in what it describes as a grand celebration of faith, unity, and the Christmas spirit.

Akwa Ibom is preparing for a powerful night of praise as the Akwa Ibom Unity Concert 2025 approaches. This special gathering, held in honour of Pastor Umo Eno, Ph.D., Governor of Akwa Ibom State, promises to bring the state together in an atmosphere of worship, gratitude, and unity.
Convened by Archbishop Dr. Emmah Isong with Aity Dennis as Co-Convener, the concert carries the inspiring theme āIn Him We Move.ā It is a reminder of Godās guidance and a call for the people to come together in harmony.
This yearās concert will feature some of the most celebrated gospel ministers, including Mercy Chinwo, Moses Bliss, Victor Thompson, Progress Effiong, John Bassey, Bobby Friga, Queen Favour, Reho Sax, Prospa Ochimana, and David G. Their performances are expected to lift hearts and ignite a deep sense of joy and hope.
Also taking the stage are All Nations Mass Choir, Government House Divine Voices, De Awesome Crew, Young Professionals, and the IWC Choir, adding even more colour to the night.
The concert is scheduled for 6th December 2025 at the International Worship Centre, Uyo, with activities kicking off at 5 PM prompt.
