Hey food lovers 😋💛
Have you ever craved that juicy, saucy, and perfectly spiced shawarma that melts in your mouth? Guess what, you can make it right at home! 🏠
Here’s how 👇
🧂 You’ll Need:
2 chicken breasts (thinly sliced) 🍗
1 cup plain yogurt
1 tsp garlic (minced)
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp black pepper
½ tsp curry powder
Salt to taste
2 tbsp vegetable oil
Shawarma bread (pita or tortilla)
Cabbage, carrot, cucumber (shredded 🥬🥕🥒)
Ketchup & mayonnaise (mix them for that signature shawarma sauce)
🔥 Let’s Make Magic:
1️⃣ Marinate your chicken with the yogurt, spices, and oil. Let it sit for at least 30 mins (the longer, the tastier!).
2️⃣ Fry or grill until golden and tender. 🤤
3️⃣ Lay your shawarma bread flat, spread the sauce, add veggies, then your chicken.
4️⃣ Roll it tight, toast for a minute, and boom 💥 your homemade shawarma is ready!
💬 Tell me, what do you love inside your shawarma the most? Extra chicken, more sauce, or lots of veggies? 👇
Let’s see who’s team extra creamy vs team extra spicy! 😍🔥

🥥🍞 “If soft, fluffy bread met the sweetness of coconut, the result would be pure happiness on a plate!”
That’s exactly what Nigerian Coconut Bread is all about. 😍 Freshly baked, soft on the inside, golden on the outside, and bursting with that irresistible coconut flavor… trust me, one slice is never enough!
The best part? You don’t need to be a professional baker to make it. With just a few simple ingredients, you can have your kitchen smelling like a bakery and your family asking for more. 🙌🏽
Ingredients:
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup freshly grated coconut (or desiccated coconut)
½ cup sugar
2 tsp dry yeast
½ tsp salt
2 tbsp butter (softened)
1 cup warm milk (or water + milk mix)
1 egg (optional, for richness)
½ tsp nutmeg (optional, for flavor)
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 8–10 minutes until frothy.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, nutmeg, and grated coconut.
3. Add butter and mix until crumbly.
4. Pour in the yeast mixture (and egg if using), then knead into a soft dough. Add more flour if sticky.
5. Cover and let the dough rise for 1–1.5 hours until doubled in size.
6. Punch down, knead lightly, and transfer into a greased loaf pan.
7. Allow it to rise again for 30 minutes.
8. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
9. Brush with melted butter once out of the oven for extra softness.
