She was drowning.
And nobody noticed…
Nobody, except her.

It was June 2022, at the World Championships in Budapest.
Anita Álvarez, an American artistic swimmer with Mexican roots, was performing a flawless routine.
But when her performance ended… she didn’t come up for air.

She had lost consciousness.
Her body floated for a few seconds, then began to sink.
Slowly. All the way to the bottom of the pool.

The audience didn’t notice. Neither did the judges.
Everyone was clapping.

But her coach, Andrea Fuentes, noticed.
She knew Anita—knew exactly how long it took her to surface.
She felt in her heart that something was wrong.

Without thinking twice, she dove in.
Fully dressed. Shoes and all.

She swam straight down, grabbed Anita by the waist,
and brought her back up.

This story left me thinking…

Who would dive in for you without hesitation when you no longer have the strength to come up for air?

And more importantly…

WHAT IS FOREX TRADING?

Forex trading is simply the buying and selling of currencies.

Let's look at it this way.

Let's assume, you have plans of leaving Kenya to a different country let's use London.

To travel to London you will have to change ksh notes to pounds at the airport.

Let's assume that you want to travel to London with 1000 pounds, to get 1000 pounds you will be needing atleast 180000/

So on getting to the airport, you gave them the 180000/ and they gave you 1000 pounds.

When you got to London, you met a friend who housed and took care of you during your stay in London, so you ended up not spending the pounds.

Now you are ready to return to Kenya, on getting to the airport, you gave them the 1000 pounds to change back to ksh.

Remember that to get 1000 pounds you gave them 180000/

Let's assume that during your stay in London pounds against ksh appreciated (went up)

Instead of getting 180000/ you were given 280000/. You have made 100,000/ profit

But let's assume the value of pounds to ksh depreciated (went down) instead of 180,000 you were given 80,000 here you made 100,000 loss.

In forex we buy and sell currencies.

We buy when the price of a particular currency is going up and we sell when the currency is going down.
