PASTOR CHRIS OKAFOR APOLOGIZES TO DORIS OGALA??

This is my final verdict on this matter, I won’t talk about this matter again after this.

1. Nigerian pastors always choose the path of transparency and accountability. Don’t always think that bullying and manipulation with the judiciary and the police force will work for you all the time against the people you have offended. If you have wronged someone please apologise and make amends with them.

2. If this man had apologised to this woman and the people he had wronged from the beginning this matter wouldn’t have gotten this messy. He had to take this route when he knew that all his options had been jammed. People are becoming vocal these days ooo. Let this be a warning to the others who are covering their tracks. One day it will burst!

3. Nigerian pastor protect the integrity of scriptures more than you protect your image. This is one of the numerous reasons we have issues like this within the body of Christ. This semblance of invincibility you always want to put out is the reason things like this happen. No matter how you want to project yourself you are not God, you are just a mere mortal! Don’t try to justify yourself just apologise and move on.

4. The elders in the Nigerian Pentecostal and charismatic churches should stop endorsing people who lack the character and the capacity to mount the pulpit. All these bribes you people call “prophetic seeds” is what is denting your integrities. People that should be discipled in the doctrines of Christ are now given pulpits because they dropped “venison”.

5. Dr Chris Okafor, it was good you accepted your flaws and apologised to your congregation. The next thing you will do is to leave the pulpit and go for a spiritual rehabilitation. Hand the church to the pastors in the church to run while you are away. The issue with charismatic churches like this is the pastor is the “alpha and the omega” of the group. When he is not in the picture everything collapses. Churches are now one man “business” in Nigeria. I pray you repent and I pray the people you’ve hurt receive peace in their souls. For me, I appreciate him for being bold to admit his flaws and apologise to his congregation. It is a rare virtue amongst charismatic preachers in Nigeria. It is a good thing he did. It is well!
