She realized she had to let him go‼️

He was unbothered, watching her lose her mind over his behaviors.

She lost herself and realized she was fighting for something that was destroying her. He was broken, and she wasn't meant to fix or force him to get his life together.

She learned that how people treat you reflects how they feel about themselves, and what you tolerate, you also encourage.

Moral of the story: Never let a person get comfortable mistreating and disrespecting you. The more chances you give someone, the less respect they'll have for you.

It's the most wonderful time of the year, the season of love, season of all good things and the last month of the year. God, we are grateful.

This life has so many twists and turns no one could have prepared me for. It's a beautiful ride, but it's also an exhausting one. And if there's one thing I learned to be true, it's that sometimes, it's just better not knowing.

It's better not knowing what the people we lost along the way are now up to, or where all those little dreams we had to let go went. It's better not knowing how amazing things would've been had we held onto them a little tighter—because that's just what they are now: what-ifs and daydreams.

Life in itself is exhausting without the drama, and I have decided to just focus on the people I love and what simple things the stars may have written for me. I'll happily take the twists and turns and their lessons to move forward, but I'm done turning around and just going back to where I got stuck on.

Sometimes, I still think of those dreams I once pursued. They still make me smile. Every now and then, I still remember the happy memories I have with the people I once had close connections with, and I honestly hope they're doing well in life. But I've long stopped checking any further.

Sometimes, it really is better not knowing. I just hope things work out in the end.
