🚨🚨Chelsea’s handling of Argentine defender Aaron Anselmino shows poor planning:

• He had no place in the first team, so Chelsea decided to loan him to Borussia Dortmund.
• He settled well and started performing in Germany.
• When Chelsea failed to sign their main target, Jeremy Jacquet (who chose Liverpool), and suddenly ended Anselmino’s loan.
• The player left Dortmund in tears and returned to London.
• Chelsea then told him he would not stay and would be loaned to Strasbourg instead, just to bring back Mamadou Sarr. 😱

Liam Rosenior has been in the job at Chelsea less than a month. In order to qualify for the knockout phase of the Champions League, his Blues side had to go to Antonio Conte's Napoli, the current Scudetto holders.

After taking an early away lead, Conte's side then quickly turned the tie on its head before half-time, leading 2-1 at the interval.

That didn't scare Chelsea though. Courtesy of a Joao Pedro second-half brace, they came from behind to show immense courage and qualify for the knockout phase in 6th place. A 3-2 win. A priceless win.

Rosenior has barely been at Stamford Bridge yet, but still managed to go to one of Europe's most intimidating stadiums with one of Europe's most experienced managers, and get the job done.
