Skills I wished I had acquired before relocating abroad

One of the main differences between first world countries and third world countries is the purchasing power of their respective populations. The first skill I wished I had learned is photography. You see, during our 6th wedding anniversary, we wanted to take some family pictures and the service of the professional photographer we wanted to employ was going to cost us $150 for 6 pictures. That is 150K. Abeg how much is one picture for Naija?

The second skill is barbing. Anytime I visit the barber’s shop, I spend between $45-$50. That is 45K to 50K to cut my hair. Abeg how much they dey cut hair for Naija. Some barbers dey collect 500, 1K or 5K at most.

If you learn these skills, you will make a lot of money abroad. This is because the system is designed in such a way that people get paid per hour and they factor that in their billings.

Further, you can never go wrong by learning skills such as: Hair braiding, Gele tying, Make-up, driving, fashion design.

Additionally, you should acquire skills such as coding, website development, app development, funnel building, email marketing, Facebook and YouTube ads, business analysis and data analytics etc…

Instead of wasting your time watching BB Naija, use your data wisely by acquiring these skills through YouTube videos and practicing them until you master them.
