The Story of Women in Tech Accelerate:

At present, it is a globally known fact that the world is filled with males in the domination of the Tech world. So we can say that women are not adequately acknowledged and are poorly represented in the Tech world, as well as in other areas.

As shown in research, the stats for women in tech are at an average of 30-40%, not only that but they are also neglected and underpaid, which is a big problem. One may ask what may be the reason for this gap. This is because the ideology of gender inequality is still rampant. This of course gives room to the idea that tech is not suitable for women as a career.

Women in Tech Accelerate is a section of the Accelerate Innovation Hub, that tends to bridge this gap by promoting digital inclusion, gender equality and networking for everyone. We hope to achieve this by having a conducive environment, mentorship, resources and opportunities for women to advance more into tech.
