Last week, GemHub Initiative attended the Public Health Coordination Meeting hosted by the Rivers State Ministry of Health.

Being in a room filled with dedicated public health leaders and partners is always a powerful reminder of what we can achieve together. Our conversations centered around maximizing our collective impact, and optimizing internal funding to drive sustainable health solutions across the state.

Looking forward to the incredible outcomes of these strengthened partnerships!

True advocacy for adolescent well-being goes beyond seasonal campaigns, it requires building a sustainable, structured ecosystem right where it matters most.
Through our ongoing project implementations across Rivers State, GemHub Initiative's approach to youth health and empowerment remains holistic. We don’t just address the symptoms; we strengthen the local systems.
Our 4 Pillars of Impact:
Pillar 1: Training healthcare workers to deliver youth-friendly, stigma-free care.
Pillar 2: Equipping peer educators and AGYW leaders to drive community awareness.
Pillar 3: Facilitating health-seeking behaviors through LGA outreaches that connect youth to local professional healthcare centers.
Pillar 4: Bringing adolescents directly into Technical Working Groups (TWG) and stakeholder meetings so their voices shape state policies.
We don't just speak for young people; we co-navigate these spaces with them. 🇳🇬💜
