Chelsea have reportedly made contact with the representatives of Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konaté to explore the possibility of a summer move to Stamford Bridge. 👀

This follows reports from Ben Jacobs claiming the French centre-back could leave Liverpool this summer after contract negotiations failed to reach an agreement. ⚠️

🚨🔵 EXCL | Tyrique George has reportedly been informed that he will NOT leave on loan this summer, with the decision coming directly from Xabi Alonso. 👀

The 19-year-old attacker was initially expected to follow Chelsea’s usual academy-to-loan pathway, but Alonso quickly shut down those discussions after closely reviewing George’s performances in the cup competitions this season.

The new Chelsea boss is believed to have told Cobham staff that the winger possesses “an unusual understanding of space for his age.” 💎

George will now join first-team training from the very first day of preseason. While he is not expected to start Premier League matches immediately, Alonso wants him fully integrated within the senior environment to learn the system and continue developing under direct supervision. 🔵

Another principle from Alonso’s Leverkusen project now being applied at Chelsea: develop talent from within rather than sending it away.
