You sit down to work.
Laptop open.
Task clear.

Then your phone lights up.

WhatsApp.
Instagram.
X.
TikTok.
Notifications every two minutes.

You check “just for a second.”
Forty minutes disappear.

Now you’re tired.
Irritated.
Behind schedule.

Then you say
“I didn’t have time.”

No.
You had time.
You gave it away.

Your smartphone is engineered to steal attention.
Endless scroll.
Dopamine hits.
No stopping point.

That device is not neutral.
It is designed to keep you distracted.

You cannot build anything meaningful
while reacting to other people’s updates.

Deep work requires silence.
Focus.
Boredom.

And boredom is something most people can’t tolerate anymore.

That’s why progress feels slow.
That’s why projects drag for months.
That’s why goals remain goals.

Serious people do this differently.

Phone on silent.
Or in another room.
Specific time blocks for checking messages.

Not all day.
Not every five minutes.

If you need your phone for work
use it intentionally.
Not emotionally.

Your future does not live inside notifications.
It lives inside uninterrupted effort.

If you cannot control your phone
someone else will control your life.

Learn to put the phone down.
Focus is the new currency.

The truth is that you start writing the goals for the next year from December...

Its time to take charge of your year and determine what you want the year to become for you.

Now get a paper and pen...

Start writing immediately...

What do you want to achieve? For example, you want to start a business something meaningful for your self or you want to position yourself for global relevance.

Where will you get it done?

When do you intend to start it? You need to be clear, Is it this January, March??

Why do you want to get it done?

How will you get it done? Are you starting with loans, small capital you saved last year

You must do these by yourself and for yourself...

Set the tone for the year in a clear and specific manner.

What are your plans?

Continue with past life style or something different
