There is a very obvious agenda against Lionel Messi and Argentina at this World Cup.

When Messi scores and assists, people say he didn't deserve the Man of the Match award and argue it should've gone to the goalkeeper...
..a goalkeeper who conceded three goals. Since when do we start giving MOTM awards to goalkeepers after conceding three times?

Meanwhile:

• Ronaldo wins MOTM after 21 touches and a penalty. Silence.
• Salah wins MOTM without a single goal contribution while the match-winner is overlooked. Silence.
• Luis Díaz wins MOTM without a goal contribution while the scorer of the winning goal doesn't get it. Silence.

No outrage.

But Messi finishes with a goal and an assist in a knockout game, and suddenly the award becomes a national debate.

The standards only seem to change when the name on the shirt is Lionel Messi. 🐐🇦🇷
