Nonso's Insight
When man KNOWS himself, he will stop praying and start thinking. Prayer is a function of man's ignorance of who he is. Man needs no aid from outside himself. No matter the problem he faces, the solution is inside him. The solution to all man's problems is his consciousness. Man's problems will be solved by man thinking and not by asking another being to solve them.

Giving Osimhen his accolade.
Someone, referring to Victor Osimhen, asked, "Is it now that the World Cup qualifiers have started?"
He was insinuating that Osimhen's world-class performance against Benin Republic came late, that if he played like that throughout the qualifiers, we would have qualified.
What some people may not know is that out of our 10 matches in the World Cup qualifiers, Osimhen played just 5 matches and scored and/or assisted in each of them, except against Rwanda in Uyo where he was substituted in the 35th minute because he was injured.
- He played against Rwanda in Kigali which we won 2-0 and scored 2 goals.
- He played against Zimbabwe in Uyo which we drew 1-1 and scored our only goal.
- He played against Rwanda in Uyo which we won 1-0. He didn't score, but he was injured and substituted in the 35th minute.
- He played against Lesotho in Polokwane which we won 2-1 and had an assist.
- He played against Benin in Uyo, which we won 4-0 and scored a hat-trick.
Dude delivered. We should give him his accolade. Apart from the goal contributions, his passion, hunger and dedication when playing for Nigeria are noteworthy. I believe if other players had his passion, hunger and dedication we would have topped the group and qualified directly.
Finally, you may not agree with me, but I don't think we have had a player in Osimhen's class. Not even Okocha and Kanu were in his class.
Victor! Osimhen! Victor! Osimhen! 💪🏾

This is to show you how much our minds are messed up.
I share some of the thoughts I share here about endless possibilities and how man shouldn't be subject to nature on my WhatsApp status.
There is my friend who accepts that the thoughts are true. However, when I wrote a few days ago that man shouldn't even be subject to distance, his comment on the status suggests he didn't accept that.
(NB: Man not being subject to distance entails that if he is at point A and wants to be at point B, he does NOT have to cover the distance to be at point B.)
Endless possibilities mean that ANYTHING (not certain things) is possible. Man has the power of endless possibilities. It is his consciousness, which is what Paul calls Christ. Paul wrote, "Christ in you the hope of glory."
Glory is the state of existence whereby one is not subject to anything and everything is subject to one. It is God's state of existence that makes Him God. Man has it because man is in God's class.
Man is not meant to be subject to anything. It is an error/failure for man to be subject to anything at all.
My friend can be likened to people who quote what Jesus says that ALL things are possible, but cannot accept that one can choose to never be sick, never be feeble with age, and never die.
"All things are possible" is English, and a simple grammar at that. I wonder what part of the grammar is difficult to understand. It shows how facts (things we perceive with our senses) have messed up our minds.
Some can only accept that it is possible to never be sick, feeble or die only when a clause like "if it is God's will" is added. They think they are being humble and pious. There is no humility or piety in refusing to accept endless possibilities.
People use "if it is God's will" to justify their failure to receive perfect health, which God freely gives to everyone. God wants you perfectly well, and He actually made you perfectly well. "By his stripes you are healed" are not empty words.
Whether we will experience the "healing" (constant perfect health) depends on us. If we fall sick, it means we have failed to believe in God who has freely given us perfect health. It is impossible to believe in God and be sick. Anybody who is sick does not believe in God. Period.
Since I started writing about endless possibilities, I don't reply to every comment on my posts. I only reply to those who want to learn. I ignore those who are bent on arguing and disagreeing with the subject. It is not out of rudeness but out of understanding because I was in their shoes.
It took me much intentionality, determination, effort and time to deconstruct my fact-based ideas, arguments, and beliefs that oppose or reject the knowledge of endless possibilities.
Faith does not deny facts. Yes. But it refuses to recognise or consider facts as a factor. It sees beyond facts. "Abraham did not consider the deadness of his body and the deadness of Sarah's womb."
People confuse faithfulness for faith. It is the major reason they struggle to grapple with statements like "anybody who is sick does not believe in God."
If you make such a statement, their minds will go to a faithful person they think had faith but was sick, for instance, the apostles. They will reason, if the apostles were sick then one can have faith and be sick. I was like that. There were people I saw as men of faith because they were faithful. People who would rather die than tell an ordinary lie. Because they fell sick I thought one can have faith and be sick.
Faithfulness is good, but it is not faith, and it does not and cannot substitute faith.
It is better to have faith than to be faithful. It is better to be a thief who cannot get sick because he believes in the perfect health God gives than to be a man who doesn't steal but gets sick because he fails to believe.
"Without faith it is impossible to please God." [Hebrew 11:6]
"Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as righteousness." [Genesis 15:6; Romans 4:3]

Sunday Oliseh has my respect for this. When he resigned from his job as coach of the Super Eagles in 2016, I wrote a post saying that when I heard the news, I gave him a standing ovation. I literally stood up and clapped for him as I watched the news on TV. Then I wrote that post as my literary ovation to him. (I may look for the post and repost it.)
