Matthew 5:14-15
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

As light that Jesus calls us, we are the reason why the city on the hill cannot be hidden. If the Light placed under a bushel, it won't give light to the house and that means all the houses in the city will be dark and even if the city is placed in the hill, it will be hidden because darkness will cover it. Your Placement as Light determines whether the city of God on earth will be hidden or not.
