Generation Of Material Things

A 17 year old girl met a handsome young man online. He was identified only as CVC.
They started chatting, and with time, he promised to buy her a iPhone Pro as a pre Valentine gift.

Keeping to his promise, they met in person and went straight to a phone shop in Ikeja, Lagos State.
He selected an iPhone worth 650,000 naira and asked her if she liked it.
She happily replied that she did.

Moments later, he asked her to continue checking other phones while he went to the restroom.
He walked away with the iPhone in his hand.

When he did not return after a long while, the shop owners became suspicious and asked her about him.
She explained that she only met him online and knew nothing more about him.

The police were invited, and she was arrested.
She was told to pay 650,000 naira before she could be released.

This incident happened on Monday in lagos
