🌍🍲 Offa Food Vendors Join Hands for a Cleaner & Healthier Community! 🍲🌍

In a remarkable show of unity, food vendors across Offa Local Government have pledged their full support for the newly launched Environmental Protection Initiative spearheaded by the council. 🙌

At a stakeholders’ meeting with the Executive Chairman of Offa Local Government, Hon. Suleiman Olatunji Omituntun, the vendors expressed readiness to comply with every measure designed to safeguard public health and improve the environment. 💚

🚮 The Officer in charge of the Environmental Protection Agency, Comr. Peter, emphasized the need for vendors to:
✔️ Stick to hygiene and precautionary guidelines
✔️ Manage waste properly
✔️ Participate in regular sanitation exercises
✔️ Undergo periodic medical check-ups

💬 In his remarks, Hon. Omituntun applauded the vendors for their cooperation and promised the council’s continued support to strengthen their businesses while promoting a healthier Offa.

On behalf of the food vendors, Iya Suliya Food Canteen praised the Chairman for his developmental strides and assured him of their unwavering partnership in all programs that uplift residents’ wellbeing. 👏

✨ Installation Ceremony of New Chiefs in Offa ✨

On Saturday, May 3rd, 2025, history was made in Offa as Mama Esther Bolaji Oni was officially installed as the Iya Okanlomo of Offa, alongside Chief Oluremi Oyindasola Oni as the Okanlomo of Offa and Chief Mrs Bolanle Titilayo Oni as the Yeye Okanlomo of Offa. 🙌🏽

This momentous event was graced by prominent dignitaries and well-wishers from within and outside Offa. The new chiefs were recognized for their immense contributions to the community and their unwavering commitment to the progress of Offa. 💫

A special mention goes to Dr. Remi Oni, a seasoned banking executive, and former Chairman of the National Pension Commission (PENCOM). With an illustrious career as the Executive Director at both Standard Chartered Bank and First Bank Nigeria Limited, Dr. Oni continues to be a proud member of the Offa Metropolitan Club. His leadership, expertise, and dedication are an inspiration to us all. 👏🏽
