Your work has to be seen!!!!!!!

One thing they don’t tell you about this business is that sewing well is not enough.

People need to see your work.

I’ve had clients walk into my shop and say,
“I always see your work displayed outside, that’s why I decided to come in.”

In fact, one of my best offline clients came because of the outfits I had on display.

That taught me a lesson I’ll never forget.

Don’t keep your best work folded inside the shop.

Dress your mannequins.

Display your beautiful outfits where people can easily see them.

Your display can start a conversation before you even say, “Good afternoon.”

The same thing applies online.

I’ve also had clients who reached out because they kept seeing my work on social media.

Some saw a dress I posted.
Some followed my page for a while before finally sending me a message.

The truth is, your work is one of your biggest marketing tools.

Whether it’s on a mannequin outside your shop or on someone’s phone screen, let people keep seeing what you do.
