I almost uprooted my future because I couldn't see the leaves.
Look at this orange tree. When I first planted it, I did everything right.
I dug the soil, I cleared the weeds, and I waited and waited.
But nothing happened. There were days I stood over it with a shovel, ready to give up, convinced that I was wasting my time on a tree that would never bear fruit.
Does that sound familiar?
Maybe you’re in that silent season right now. You’ve started the business, applied for the grants, poured your heart into the community, school and life hacks...but the ground still looks dry.
I’ve been there. I remember when my community was hacked, when the scams felt louder than my purpose, and when I felt like "The Scarred Scribbler" was just writing into a void.
But something kept me back. A small voice said, "Keep watering. The growth you can't see is happening underground".
Leadership isn't just about the harvest, it’s about the discipline of the watering can. It’s about taking care of the vision even when it’s not going yet.
Because a tree that takes a long time to grow often has the deepest roots.
Today, the leaves are green. The branches are reaching. Dreams don't just come true, they are grown through the seasons you wanted to quit.
To every youth advocate, student, and every dreamer reading this, Don't uproot your progress just because
you're tired of waiting.
Your season of fruit is coming.
Just keep watering and believing.
Definitely, it will start growing one day.
Your orange tree is stronger than you think.

It is Planet vs. Plastics!
While the campaign started in 2024,
I am proud to announce that I have officially joined the global movement as an International Earth Day Volunteer. 🌍
It is time for 'Planet vs. Plastics'.
I am adding my voice to the call for a 60% reduction in all fossil fuel based plastic production by 2040. Our health, our environment, and our future depend on the actions we take today.
As an advocate for impact and change, I’ve signed the Global Plastics Treaty to ensure a safer, waste free world for everyone. Let’s lead the way!!!
