Lord, thank You for the gift of this new day. I surrender my plans, my worries, and my schedule into Your hands. Please guide my steps, grant me wisdom to make good choices, and fill my heart with peace. Give me the strength to handle whatever comes my way, and help me to show Your love to those I encounter. Help us to live this day as dead indeed to sin and alive indeed to you, O Lord. You are the source of our life and the focus of our life.
