I saw a post about Blessing CEO saving a pregnant woman from her abusive husband and I want to add my 2 cents concerning this issue.

Let's talk about something that's way too common and totally unacceptable: partner abuse. Domestic violence is a serious issue that affects countless people, often in silence. It's not just physical; emotional and psychological abuse can be just as damaging. The cycle of violence can be hard to break, but it's crucial to recognize the signs and seek help.

The consequences of partner abuse are severe:
- Physical harm or even death
- Emotional trauma and mental health issues
- Breakdown of trust and relationships
- Impact on children and family dynamics

But here's the thing: marriage is not a do-or-die affair. It's better to go separate ways than to die in the process. Your life is worth more than a toxic relationship.

So, what can help curtail this issue?
- Recognize the signs of abuse: controlling behavior, emotional manipulation, physical violence
- Seek help: reach out to trusted friends, family, or professionals
- Support survivors: believe them, listen to them, and offer resources
- Promote healthy relationships: educate on mutual respect, trust, and communication

If you or someone you know is experiencing abuse, there are resources available:
- National Domestic Violence
You deserve to be safe and loved. Let's break the silence and support each other

The story of Peter walking on water (Matthew 14:22-33) is a powerful reminder that faith is the key. When Peter took his eyes off Jesus and focused on the waves, he started sinking. Same with us - when we doubt God's power and goodness, and focusing on our problems just like Peter focused on the waves we start sinking into anxiety, fear, and uncertainty.

Hebrews 11:1 says, "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen". We need to fix our eyes on Jesus, trust His word, and walk in faith, not fear.

No matter the problem you're facing right now, have faith that God is bigger than that problem. Begin now to see more of God and see less of whatever you’re passing through and see God working wonders in your life. I am saying this from experience. I have fought battle that ONLY faith moved God to give me victory.
Jesus said in Matthew 17:20, "If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you". Even if your faith is tiny, it's enough to move giants!
I can’t wait to hear your TestimonyđŸ«”Amen!

The weight of life and death. Working in healthcare, I've seen it all - the fights, the tears, the prayers. But some stories cut deep.

I remember her. A young mom with a smile that lit up the room. She fought hard, but the pain... it consumed her. Watching her go... it's a pain I can't shake.
We take so much for granted. Health, time, loved ones... it's all so fragile 💔. We focused more on asking God for material things and grumble when we don’t received them.
Even after years in healthcare, every loss feels like the first. Some colleagues seem to build walls, I don’t know how they do it , but for me I feel close to tears each time a Patient dies. Maybe that's why it hurts so much.

Let’s appreciate what we have. Let's love harder, forgive faster, and make moments count. Because in the end... that's all we have.

The Pressure Cooker: How Societal Expectations are Ruining Single Ladies mostly in Africa 👇👇

In many African cultures, single ladies face an unimaginable pressure to get married. From family gatherings to social media, the message is clear: being single isn't an option. But what's often overlooked is the damage this pressure can cause 💔.

Rushing into a relationship or marriage can lead to heartbreak, abuse, and even life-threatening situations. Many women feel forced to settle for less, sacrificing their dreams, education, and happiness just to fit into societal norms. The fear of being labeled "old" or "unwanted" can drive them into the arms of anyone who shows interest, regardless of compatibility or character.

The consequences can be devastating: broken relationships, lost opportunities, and a lifetime of regret. Not to mention the toll it takes on mental health, self-esteem, and overall well-being.

But here's the thing: being single isn't a curse 🙅. It's an opportunity to focus on personal growth, build a career, and find true love when the time is right. It's a chance to discover oneself, pursue passions, and become the best version of oneself.

So, how can we support single ladies in Africa to resist this pressure and thrive?

- Let's start by changing the narrative: being single is not a failure.
- Let's celebrate women's achievements, not just their marital status.
- Let's educate families and communities about the dangers of pressure and coercion.
- Let's empower ladies to prioritize their goals, dreams, and happiness.

A true story to encourage someone 👇đŸ„č

When my father had an accident that left him almost crippled, life became more difficult for us. I always had a passion for education and wanted to enter higher institution. I always passed JAMB exams but wouldn’t still get enrolled due to lack of money. I used to hide from friends, because I was ashamed that I hadn’t achieved anything tangible in life despite being focused and intelligent. I did all kinds of menial jobs. Even my colleagues at the places I worked used to say I was too bright to be doing such kind of work.

I later worked as a Sales Rep for an Electronics shop. That was when God remembered me. One day, I came to work very early as usual, a buyer came to make enquiries about costs of what he intended to buy. He said ‘my customer wants to buy things and sent me to check the prices. I will give her your contact too’. I told him prices of particular items he requested and he left. Shortly, I received messages on WhatsApp, and found out it was from the woman he said really needed to buy the items and that would contact me. I also noticed from the number she lives in the US. We started discussing the items and prices and suddenly she popped out the question ‘why are you not in school? Mind you, this was a topic I always avoided with people. I always felt shattered whenever the issue was raised. I was looking at my phone screen wondering what I’d reply when she asked again ‘why are you not in school? You write so well and you should be in school’

Well, I told her I didn’t want to go to school again. I had given up on that dream. When she pressed further, I had to tell her the reasons, all my life struggles. She encouraged me to try sitting for entrance exam again and that she would sponsor me. Immediately I felt like I wasn’t in this world! I must be dreaming I told myself. But it wasn’t a dream, it was real. She asked which school I wanted to go to? I told her College of Nursing. She said okay. Becoming a Nurse has always been my dream. I sat for entrance exams and passed. She covered the fees, paid all my tuition fees, all the Books on my prospectus, sent me books, stethoscopes, and everything I needed and more!

This is how God works. When all hope is lost, that is when He shows His Mighty power. He catapulted me from Nothing to Something. My confidence came back, I stopped hiding. Today I am a Registered Nurse. God is going to change that your ugly situation. It doesn’t matter how many years you have been in that problem, when God shows up all tears will be wiped away. He doesn’t fail🙏
