Omg, trying to comfort my husband because of the football drama 💔. Anyone else feeling the weight of Nigerian football right now? 🤣
Me, I'm feeling hurt about it too... but I have to comfort my beloved 😘.
Hey Lovelies 💕
This video hit me (in a good way 😊)!
Two nursery pupils, tied together, are trying to arrange their balls accordingly, to be the winner. One pupil was busy trying to sabotage the other's progress by pulling her back, aiming to frustrate her mission. But the girl wasn't having it! She focused on her own game, and didn't let the other boy's actions distract her. She kept her eyes on the prize, picked her balls one after the other, arranging them.
This simple game teaches us a powerful lesson: Focus on your own lane, and don't let distractions (or people 😂) pull you back. When we concentrate on our own goals, we achieve success, no matter the happenings around us. The girl who won didn't waste energy competing unhealthily with her opponent; she competed with herself, improving and arranging those balls!👌
I've had experiences where people responded negatively to a little life progress, fueled by jealousy. It broke me but it wasn't long before I left it behind where it belonged and moved on, facing what's ahead.
It's easy to get caught up in comparing ourselves to others, feeling frustrated when someone is doing better, or trying to pull them down. But trust me, that's just energy wasted. Your focus should be on your own growth, your own goals, and your own progress.
So, let's take a lesson from this, stay focused, ignore the distractions, and keep arranging those balls - achieving those goals. Success will follow! 💯🎉
Isn't it amazing how simple lessons can teach us so much? Do you have a similar experience? Let's hear it! Drop your thoughts in the comments below.
Happy New Week, People! 👋

I recently read a woman's story on Facebook and it got me thinking. 🤔 She shared an experience where she visited a friend who had just given birth a day before, bringing gift items for the baby. According to her, she chose the following day to visit so as to allow them settle in first. However, the baby's father asked her if she was angry because she didn't visit on the day of delivery, implying that she wasn't happy for them. I think that's unfair! She also mentioned another hurtful incident at a child's dedication.
I faced a similar situation with a neighbor who made envious comments about my husband and me. She implied that though things are going well for us, our lives wouldn't balance 😯😂 - coming from an unemployed woman who has three children for different men and barely surviving in a toxic marriage.
I've noticed that when people know you're in a waiting period, they expect you to wear it on your face or put your life on hold. But when they see you're thriving despite the challenge, they become resentful and try to bring you down. Often, they are bitter people who are unhappy with their own lives and are envious of yours.
The waiting period has taught me that children are a significant part of marital blessings, but having them doesn't guarantee happiness in marriage. While childlessness is a major cause of issues in some homes, many unhappy or failed marriages involve couples with children.
Interestingly, the woman that was mocked is now a mother! 💃🤱 The waiting season may be hard and long, but it will definitely be over! After mockery comes glory. Whatever it is you're waiting for will come! And the wait will make our celebration more profound! 🎺

₦2,000 Airtime up for grabs 🎁!
Last week Friday, I was asked by my boss to accompany a director's driver to buy fuel for her car. The money was sent to my account to ensure the exact amount of fuel was purchased. The director suspects the driver might have been under-buying fuel and keeping the change. For transparency, I took a picture of the pump display while the fuel was being sold, even though I already requested a receipt from the attendant. Although I felt for the driver who saw this as an opportunity to earn a little extra, I refuse to be an accomplice to fraud.
Guess the filling station ⛽ and its location, and win ₦2,000 Airtime! 🤗 Kindly share the post too.
I'm thankful for where I am and what the future holds, even with the countless negative HCG tests. 💃
