This morning, Nollywood actor Ibrahim Chatta shared very $ad news. He announced on Instagram that he has lost his son. In his post, he wrote a short but painful message: “Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajiun… Rest on, Dear son, champ.”

Fans, friends, and colleagues have been sending him messages of comfort and prayers since the news broke.

This is not the first time Ibrahim Chatta is facing such pain. Some months ago, he revealed that he once lost his first child, a baby girl, because he could not afford hospital bills at that time. He said he had to b u r y her in a wooden crate, which was a very heartbreaking moment in his life.

$adly, this new loss also comes just a few days after another Nollywood veteran, Peju Ogunmola, lost her only son. The Nollywood industry is now mourning with both families.
