One day he'll be taller, stronger, and busier, but today I get to hold him close, laugh with him, and enjoy the simple magic of being his mum. And for that, my heart is full. ❤️✨

Nigeria is really showing us shege these days.

Today, I bought just 1kg of cooking gas for ₦2,300. Imagine! Something that used to be a normal household expense now feels like a luxury.

I also bought 6 small pieces of meat for ₦1,000, and little pepper and tomatoes for another ₦1,000. Before you know it, money has finished and the pot is still looking at you.

Every market day now comes with mixed feelings. You carry money with confidence, only to return home wondering what exactly happened. Prices keep rising, but our pockets are not rising with them.

Still, we keep pushing, we keep hustling, and we keep finding ways to make something out of what we have. To every parent, business owner, and everyday Nigerian trying to survive this economy, I see your struggle.

May our hard work pay off. May better days come soon. 🙏❤️

Life has a way of reminding us to appreciate the little things. ❤️

A few weeks ago, this chicken was one of the birds I was raising myself. Unfortunately, it came down with flu, so I had to give it to my dad to roast for me. Today, paired with my homemade stew and rice, it became a meal that means more than just food on a plate.

Sometimes things don't go exactly as planned, but that doesn't mean they can't still turn into something good. We may lose one thing, but we gain another lesson, another experience, and another reason to be grateful.

So today, I'm enjoying this plate with a thankful heart. Not because everything is perfect, but because there is still something to smile about.
