TOPIC: FAITHFULNESS (2)
TEXT: 1 CORINTHIANS 4:1- 2
While we were able to establish yesterday that there is a responsibility to propagate Christ as believers and as such we all are Ministers of Christ and Stewards of the Mystery of Christ. We should look at what makes a person a Steward and what are the traits that should be seen in us as stewards.
A steward is defined as a person who manages the property or affairs of another person. So you see as stewards, you are placed in the management of things that does not belong to you but rather to God. As stewards if we have shallow knowledge of or we do not have the knowledge of whose affairs we are managing, we may err in faithfulness. Is it God or Men?
The World has its standards and even God’s Standards of course exist and even stands sure.
With the understanding that we are accountable to God, we know whose standards we are to meet. We know whose guide we are to follow and we know who we need to run to in any circumstance.
Who are you accountable to? Hope your focus has not shifted?

TOPIC: WHILE WAITING
TEXT: Ps. 43:5
Everyone in one way or the other experience a waiting period. At that point where manifestation of answered prayers are not seen, weariness sets in.
Sometimes, God allows believers to experience this in order to test their faith or due to other peculiar reasons. While you are waiting, keep hope alive.
Are you getting discouraged already about that situation? Is your soul already downcast? Christ comfort and strength is always available if you rely on him completely.

TOPIC - Wisdom Lifestyle 1
TEXT - James 3v13-18
Wisdom is a necessity for growth and every notable achievement on earth. It will always take wisdom to build not only a house, but every venture.
Solomon in his Proverbs revealed what level of assurance wisdom can provide towards facilitating a good life (Prov. 8v12-21). Wise men are therefore encouraged to respond to the goodness of wisdom by their good living and deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom.
The basic qualification for wisdom is the fear of God and true wise men cannot but continue living in this manner as the wisdom that comes from God is first of all pure, then peaceable, gentle, submissive, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.
Wisdom is only traceable to lives where the aforementioned are consistently exhibited, while every contrary lifestyle is a clear definition of foolishness, and of wisdom that is not of God.
