Request for support to set up school gardens for kids in Nigeria to alleviate hunger.

I am Chiemeka Chiedozie, founder of Humane Global Network and Chi Empathy Towards Animals Organization. The following is my story as a young child. I would walk to school every day without breakfast. During lunch time when the other children were eating, I sat alone in the classroom because I had no lunch.Walking home from school, sweating in the sun, I felt like I would faint.

In order to support my family for food, I would hawk - sell in the street. I did this street hawking for years until I was 19 years old.

Today, we still have a lot of kids in Nigeria who go to school without food and they are suffering from malnutrition. I feel as an organization that embarking on such a project will be of great benefit to the kids, schools and the society. We look forward for support and donations from individuals, non profits, and international institutions to advance the benefits of plant based food and farming systems.

We have a link to over 200 schools in Lagos and we can reach them with this concept of growing food on their own. We would like to ensure that every school has a greenhouse to ensure food security of the children...
