What I Wish I Knew Before Starting My Creative Journey

When I started out, I thought creativity meant big ideas, expensive tools, and instant perfection.

3. Practice beats talent every single time
I didn’t improve by watching endlessly.
I improved by doing—cutting, folding, sewing, tying… even when it wasn’t perfect.
Simple projects done repeatedly sharpen your hands and confidence.

4. You don’t need everything to begin
I delayed myself waiting for the “right” tools.
