The power of saying NO
Story, story… 😊
I had a wedding to attend and I just knew I wanted to wear something unique. I already had the perfect style in mind, so I went to the market to find the exact fabric for it.
I searched everywhere—up, down, left, right. Still nothing.
Finally, I saw a fabric that could manage, but it wasn’t what I envisioned. Honestly, I almost bought it. The stress was stressing me, and the seller was already making me feel guilty for “disturbing” her.
For a moment, I wanted to settle… but then I remembered the vision I had for that outfit.
So I took a deep breath, said NO, and walked out.
Guess what?
At another shop, I saw the exact fabric I had been searching for all along!
I made the dress… and the compliments, the stares, the orders I got that day? Overwhelming in the best way. I felt fulfilled. I felt proud. And it all started with the courage to say NO to less than what I wanted.
