Explosive Reactions Trail Tinubu Supporter’s Response to Peter Obi’s Power Supply Comment

A supporter of Bola Tinubu on X, Prof Ganucci, is being dragged from Abuja to Lagos.

He reacted to Peter Obi’s statement on raising the power supply to 10,000MW within 4 years and his reaction was greeted with punches from Nigerians.

He wrote: “Some of una too mumu… Nigeria is correctly generating 14000MW. Generation and distribution are not the problem of Nigeria power sector but Transmission….

Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently doing a fantastic job with the with Siemens on the expansion of our grid capacity to 25,000MW. Someone promising generating 10,000MW doesn’t cut it, because we already generating more than that.

It is very stupid for someone to be promising 10,000MW when we are already generating over that. Your principal doesn’t know the problem with this sector. If he likes let him generate 100,000MW, if we can’t transmit it, it will all be wasted.”

Unfortunately for him, the National Grid handle on X out of shock, corrected him saying Nigeria doesn’t produce up to 14,000MW.

In the comment section, the handle clarified that as at yesterday, Nigeria produces 4,756MW.
