The rain didn’t stop that night.

It fell through what was left of her roof…
not gently, but like the sky had forgotten mercy.

Amina sat in the corner of what used to be her home.
Now, it was just broken walls and memories.

Her youngest child cried softly in her arms,
too weak to even scream.
The others pressed against her, trembling
not just from the cold… but from hunger.

She had no food.
No shelter.
No one coming.

Just yesterday, this place held laughter.
Now… it held silence.

She looked up as the rain touched her face.
Not to complain… but as if asking heaven,

Some people are not lazy…
They are just one tragedy away from losing everything.

Today, Amina is not asking for luxury…
She is praying for survival.
