*It is Dangerous To Meet School Cut Off Mark, Beat it Instead*

Students should understand the difference between *Meeting school cut-off mark* and *Beating School Cut-off Mark*

*Meeting Cut-off Mark* is scoring the school's proposed grade for consideration.

*Beating the Cut-Off mark* is scoring above the school's proposed grade.

Admission is not all about *meeting cut off mark", but, by *beating cut off mark*.

This is why you see some people who met the cut-off mark but were not given admission. The reason is that those who *beat the cut-off mark were much more than those who *met the cut-off mark*

Try as much as possible to beat your school Cut-off, if you want a Hitch-Free Admission this year.

*Two Methods of Evaluation for University Admission*

•Post UTME
•Point System

1. *Post UTME* This is an internal test that's conducted for university aspirants after they must have passed the UTME/JAMB.

Universities set a required score that aspirants must meet.

the institutions' cut-off mark will be got from the aggregate of both UTME and Post UTME score.

The danger is that a student who scored as high as 300 may lose his mark if he fails to pass the Post UTME.

However, majority of federal Universities conduct post UTME for aspirants. The sales of post UTME forms are usually out between August and October.

Point System is employed by universities that are not writing post UTME.

2. *Point System* is a system that requires only Jamb and Waec(5 relevant or best subjects) result for admission.

JAMB score has 50% point while O'level result also has 50% point.

If for instance you score 250 in jamb and 4As and 1 B2 in Waec.

31+49=80%
