There are moments in an institution’s life that go beyond ceremony—they define continuity, purpose, and legacy.
At our 5th Convocation Ceremony, the award of diplomas marked the completion of a rigorous and transformative journey. The presentation of special awards recognised not just excellence, but discipline, resilience, and character.
With the formal induction of our PDE graduates into the teaching profession by the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), a defining threshold was crossed—from learning about education to taking responsibility for it.
This is how the future of education is entrusted—intentionally, and with care.
TEACHERS, THIS IS FOR YOU!
Teaching is not a job. It is a calling. And many of our teachers are living that calling faithfully under conditions that would make others walk away.
I want to say this clearly: we must do better by our teachers! Not just with words of appreciation, though those matter. But with advocacy. With investment. With systemic support that matches the size of the responsibility we have placed on their shoulders. Without well-supported, well-developed teachers, we have no real hope for the future we say we want for this nation.
To every teacher reading this, Thank You for Your Service. Your work is not invisible, even when it feels that way.
Also, I want to encourage every teacher to register for the upcoming Educators Conference. It is one of the most tangible ways I can play my part in caring for and equipping the people who are shaping Africa's next generation.
