Adjusting My Spirit in His Presence
Sometimes I come loud, mind everywhere,
thoughts running like they don’t want to be caught.
And You don’t shout, yet You just stay.
So I started adjusting
lowering the volume of fear,
muting the echo of yesterday,
turning down the noise of what-ifs
that keeps fighting for space in my head.
My heart doesn’t always know what it feels,
but the feeling is there…
like something unsettled, trying to breathe.
So I stand in Your presence,
like a sound engineer of my own soul,
sliding the controls slowly.
And suddenly, the battlefield in my mind
isn’t so loud anymore.
It’s not that everything is fixed;
it’s just… balanced.
And for a moment,
I’m not surviving,
but I’m aligned.
In Your presence,
my spirit learns how to sound again.

A close friend once told me I’m calm and quiet
She asked how I stay composed when others are panicking
She said she’s never seen me rushed or out of order
Even when people speak to me rudely I hold eye contact
I don’t raise my voice
I don’t move or flinch
I’ve learned that sometimes the strongest message is delivered in silence
That belief shaped this fragrance concept
I wanted it to feel calm
Not loud
Not forced
Less noise. More presence

He looked at me confused, no niche. no name. No direction.

I gave him options, told him to research and left him.
Hours later, he flooded my DM with street art graphics.
