My 16years old brother will soon be a father.

His wife Kemi screamed that she was in Labour. All our concentration went to her.

Baby, Babe. Samuel said.

Can you all please stop talking to my husband like he is a child. The did has been done. Let's move on. Kemi said.

So so your water didn't break? I asked her curiously.

I just wanted to get your attentions. She said.

My parents looked at Samuel and his wife and they concentrated on the road.

The rest hours of he journey was a quiet one. No one spoke. Everywhere was calm and quiet.

As soon as we reached our family house. Samuel and his wife entered my room which was close to the kitchen. He banged the door as they entered the room.

I went to the kitchen to get water to drink.
I overhead the two couples arguing. Why will you pull such a prank on my parents. why? Samuel asked the wife.

So you liked the way they were shouting at you? You have to man up, be a man. I stand up for my husband and this is the thank you I get? Kemi asked.

I had everything under control. Samuel said.

It didn't seem like you had it under control. She replied.

Samuel!! my father called. Come here with your wife. Immediately they both came to the living room where my father was sitting.

I also came to the living room and sat on one cushion. Did I call you? my father asked me. Do you also want to get a lady pregnant? My father asked me angrily. No sir. I replied and stood up to leave.

You know what it will be good that you stay. Samuel I sent you some money into my other account that you were using in school. Take it and leave my house tomorrow morning. Your Mother will show you your new house. Take the money and start up a business. When you are up to 18 you can open your own account. My father said.

Everywhere in the house was quiet. My mother was still in the shower taking her bath, she wasn't in the meeting.

Samuel and his wife went to my room and stayed there for long.

Later that evening during dinner, while we were eating. Samuel cleared his throat.

Daddy about the money you sent to my account. I sent it back to you. I want to use the money and buy share from your shop. So that you can be paying me monthly Samuel said.

Kemi was holding his hands strong. My mother looked at Samuel and looked at my father.

You think this is joke right? This is a comedy abi? My father asked.

I tried to smile a little. Bring out that your smile and I will bréak your heád. My father thréathened me.

Hours later my Mother and Kemi( Samuel wife) came back from the market.

They prepared Lunch, My father had already left for work.

When they were done cooking, we ate as a family. Samuel and Kemi went into my room while I stayed in the living room with my mother watching TV.

So mommy you are not going to do anything about what your son just did? You and daddy is just going to let him stay here and continue bringing pregnant ladies into this home?

My mother looked at me for a minute. James your younger brother didn't just bring any woman into this house, he made a mistake he got a lady pregnant. Yes, but does that mean we should chase him out of this house? My mother asked me.

I looked at my mother without saying a word. He is your younger brother and you should correct him with love. She added.

Mommy thank God you said younger brother, because ever since he returned with that Kemi girl I have felt more like a slave, an errand boy to him. I said.

Come'on you are no errand boy you are still the man of this house. Just then my younger brother Samuel called me from our bedroom. James!!! He screamed.

I didn't want to go initially. James your brother is calling you. My mother said. I frowned my face and went to where he was calling me, my mother followed suit.

Can you please take this money and quickly go and get my wife hot pepper soup. She is craving for it and she doesn't want me to leave her. He said.

My mother who was also beside me looked at him and looked at me.

He is your little brother just do it. she said I nodded like agama and collected the money.

Just then my mother received a message in her phone.

"Tomorrow we are going to meet Kemi's Family". It was from my father.
