*DON'T LECTURE A PERSON WHO NEEDS A SLAP {IT'S A FRUITLESS VENTURE}*
> "Slap" of divine judgement that saves
There are people who don’t need more sermons. They need a confrontation with consequences. You can’t counsel a hardened heart into repentance. You can’t preach sense into someone who has rejected sense.
*MEMORY VERSE*
Proverbs 29:1 KJV
*“He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.”*
*EXPLANATORY*
Jesus taught us to be wise. He didn’t waste time arguing with the Pharisees who had already made up their minds. _Matthew 7:6_ says, _“Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.”_
Lecturing an unrepentant soul is like pouring water on stone hoping it will soften. It won’t. Sometimes the only language they understand is the “slap” of divine judgment, discipline, or reality. That’s not cruelty. That’s mercy — because Proverbs 27:5 says _“Open rebuke is better than secret love.”_ Better a painful wake-up call now than sudden destruction later.
Don’t exhaust yourself explaining truth to someone committed to rejecting it. Pray for them, set boundaries, and let God deal with them. Paul handed Hymenaeus and Alexander over to Satan _“that they may learn not to blaspheme”_ – 1 Timothy 1:20. Sometimes a slap from life does what 1000 sermons couldn’t do.
*BIBLICAL ILLUSTRATIONS OF UNREPENTANT SOULS WHO NEEDED MORE THAN LECTURES:*
1. *Pharaoh – Exodus 7-14*
Moses gave him 10 warnings. 10 chances. 10 lectures with signs. Pharaoh hardened his heart each time. It took the “slap” of losing his firstborn and his army in the Red Sea before he learned. Some people only bow when they break.
2. *Eli’s Sons, Hophni and Phinehas – 1 Samuel 2:22-25*
Their father warned them about their evil in God’s house. _“Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto the voice of their father, because the Lord would slay them.”_ Lectures didn’t work. Judgment came. They both died in one day.
3. *The Rich Man – Luke 16:19-31*
He had Moses and the prophets — the Word. He ignored it in life. In hell, he begged Abraham to send Lazarus to lecture his brothers. Abraham refused: _“If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.”_ Some souls are unrepentant even when lectured from the grave.
4. *Jezebel – Revelation 2:20-23*
God said, _“I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.”_ Lectures expired. What came next? Judgment. _“Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation.”_ God’s patience has a limit.

4. *I cancel the assignment of sudden destruction without remedy. Lord, give [mention name] one more chance to repent before it’s too late.* – 2 Peter 3:9

*DECREE:*
I will not waste my oil on hardened ground. I release every unrepentant soul into the hands of the One who breaks and remakes. Let the slap that saves come now, in Jesus’ name.
*THE SPIRIT OF DISORDER*
Many of us need a second touch of Jesus in our lives so that we can see what we need to see and know what we need to know. We need to study God's words intentionally. *"Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cleverness of people in their deceitful scheming."* - Ephesians 4:14
*SCRIPTURE REFERENCE: 1 Corinthians 14:33*
"For God is not a God of disorder but of peace—as in all the congregations of the Lord."
*ILLUSTRATION*
Disorder is the precursor to chaos, and where chaos reigns, disorder is often the underlying cause. This spirit of disorder leads to the misunderstanding of the value of individuals and creates an environment ripe for confusion and dysfunction. In the house of God, among leaders and members, disorder can manifest in various ways, hindering the body of Christ from operating effectively.
SYMPTOMS OF DISORDER
1. *Rejecting the Truth*: Refusing to accept and live by the truth of God's Word.
2. *Above Correction*: Resisting correction and rebuke, leading to further disorder and chaos.
3. *Prophesying and Doing the Opposite*: Claiming divine guidance while acting contrary to God's Word.
4. *Unscriptural Activities*: Engaging in practices that are not grounded in Scripture, leading to spiritual instability.
5. *Indecision*: Lacking the ability to make firm, God-guided decisions.
6. *Lack of Discernment*: Failing to distinguish the voice of God from that of the devil.
7. *Confusing Gifts*: Inability to differentiate between the gifts of the Holy Spirit and other counterfeit gifts.
8. *Extortion and Seeking Worldly Fame*: Prioritizing material gain and recognition over spiritual integrity.
WHY GOD DECIDED TO PUT THINGS IN ORDER

To ensure that every aspect of our lives and ministries operates smoothly and productively.
2. *Benefit of the Whole System*
To ensure that every department or aspect of the body of Christ works together for the benefit of the whole.

To enable us to fulfill our callings and purposes with maximum impact.
4. *Protection from Chaos*
To protect us from the destructive nature of chaos and disorder.

10. Father, thank You for Your desire for order and peace in our lives; help us to walk in it fully.
May we seek God's order and peace in our lives and in His church, rejecting the spirit of disorder and chaos. Through prayer and alignment with God's Word, may we experience the fullness of His blessings and guidance in Jesus name Amen.
