Bernardo de Gálvez (2014): A Spanish military leader who helped the American colonies during the Revolutionary War by defeating the British in the South.

Only Sir Winston Churchill and Mother Teresa received the honor during their lifetimes.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu becomes the 3rd foreigner to be granted a US Honorary Citizenship Award in his lifetime.
