OVERFLOWING JOY.

These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. John 15:11 (KJV)

Jesus spoke these words just before His crucifixion, knowing that sorrow awaited both Him and His disciples. Yet even in the shadow of the cross, He spoke about joy, a joy not dependent on circumstances, but rooted in relationship. This was the joy of abiding in His love, a deep gladness that no loss could steal.

Beloved, joy may seem hard to find in a busy and broken world, but Jesus offers a joy that endures. It flows from staying connected to Him—through prayer, worship, and gratitude. When life drains you, return to the Vine, for apart from Him, joy fades quickly. Let His presence refill your heart until it overflows again.

Prayer Point: Lord, thank You for joy that lasts beyond emotions or circumstances. Keep me connected to You so that Your gladness fills my heart. Help me share that joy with others around me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
