Alleged N36m Fraud: EFCC Arraigns Blessing CEO in Lagos

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arraigned social media influencer and self-styled relationship therapist Blessing CEO, also known as Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, before a Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, over an alleged N36 million fraud.

She was charged with obtaining money by false pretence and stealing. During proceedings, her lawyer told the court she had refunded N24 million out of the alleged N36 million and requested time to settle the balance.

However, the prosecution insisted the case must proceed, stressing that the complainant is the Federal Government of Nigeria, not the petitioner. The court ruled that settlement talks can continue, but Blessing CEO must still take her plea.
